Final Report

Hello my friends! This is the my last post and I have to say I am sad that this is the end of this course. This has been an incedible experience. Something totally different. A subject that I have enjoyed. I have always been keen on technology and now that I can relate it with teaching, now that I know that technology in an indispensable tool for teaching I feel more comfortable using it as a future teacher.
I would like to congratulate everyone of you for a successful semester and I wish you good luck on the exams. Have a nice summer. Relax and enjoy the summer! ☺☺😘😘

Week 11

Hello everyone! How are you doing? This week we had to review our partner's report about the final presentation and also write our own report! I have to say that at the beginning I was very confused because I had misunderstood the assingment and later on I was unclear if we were going to write an essay about the whole course or only the steps we considered when we prepared our presentation, but then our teacher explained what we had to do and I started working on my report. I was actually sad writing an essay as the last assignment of this course, because I have really enjoyed this subject and It was the most interesting one this semester. I wrote everything about my presentation and My partner Brixhilda was very correct and nice with her comments. Have a nice week! Enjoy the sun! 😇☺☺🌞🌞

Week 10

Hello everyone! This week we had to talk about the steps we followed on our presentation and the technological tools we used. As we are coming to the end of this subject I honestly feel sad because this has been the most interesting subject of the semester and we owe all the information that we have acquired for the proper use of technology in the teaching process to this subject. During my presentation I felt anxious at the beginning but later on I felt comportable and I got used to it. I and my friend Manjola gave a lot of importance to the introduction part : the introduction of ourselves, the topic and of the objectives to be achieved because objectives are highly important for the lesson plan. Also the power point presentation, the video and the handouts made the lesson more interesting and helped the students to understand better. The blackboard was also an important part of our lesson. The most interesting part of our presentation was the game at the end of the lesson which the students enjoyed a lot. Technology made our presentation easier and much more interesting and I will use technology with my future students without a doubt. Have a nice week everyone ! 😊☺

How Can Technology Influence Our Teaching?

Hello everyone! How are you doing? This assignment for this week was to talk about the influence of technology in the teaching process. Today my post is about the benefits and the issues related to technology! Nowadays technology is very important in everyone’s life. 
We use technology for almost everything, so why not use technology as an important tool for teaching. There are many ways we can use in order to make an interesting lesson and to make students active in the learning process. Technology allows students to become more independent in the classroom. Making use of technology to allow students the freedom to discover solutions to problems both independently and collaboratively is a force for good. 
As educators we strive for students to engage with our subject beyond a superficial level. We want them to be active learners, learners who have a thirst for discovery and knowledge. Technology places the world in the hands of every student inside the confines of your classroom. Besides all the positive aspects there is a drawback in the use of technology in the classroom : our country cannot afford the placement of technological tools in every school. Also we are not quite sure if the use of technology can successfully be implemented in the schools of our country. 
However, I think that the use of technology in the teaching process is a very productive method and should be used by every teacher.

Teaching Vocabulary through Listening and Speaking!

At our final presentation we thought of teaching vocabulary through listening and speaking as the two main skills for developing students' communication and interaction skills. Hello again everyone! Today we presented our project. To be honest I was very nervous at the beginning because being the first duo to present the project has it's advantages and disadvantages, and I was scared that things might not go the way we planned, but the presantation went very well and we had a lot of fun. In my opinion incorporating teaching with technology is a very good idea because students are more attentive during the learning process and the process becomes more interesting. Also with the help of images, videos, handouts and different games we can make learning easier for them. We had worked a lot for this project and I'm happy everything went well. Project-Based Learning

Hi everyone! The assignment for this week was to read about the Project Based Learning, an assignment that I found really interesting, because I learned new techniques and new information that we can use in the teaching process. PBL is all about practice, students interact with each other, they develop critical thinking by trying to solve real life problems and situations and they also exchange ideas during the class projects. This is a student-centered approach in which the student is actively involved in the learning process. So this approach is a good way to enable student's learning and we can use it as a useful technique in the teaching process.

The P in PBL needs to stand for passion, a quote from Adam Bellow.

Another task for this week was to share informations about PBL in the Padlet which was an interesting thing to do.

ABCD Objectives

<<Hello Everyone!>> After reading about the ABCD objectives, I think that these objectives are very useful in the teaching process because it helps teachers organize their work. Through these objectives teachers can observe and measure the progress of their students. Written objectives are a vital part of instructional design because they provide the roadmap for designing and delivering curriculum. ABCD objectives include 4 distinct components: Audience, Behavior, Condition and Degree. While searching the internet about the learning objectives I found a lot of useful information on how to model these objectives in an appropriate way so we as future teachers and our students can benefit from them. This way we can organize our work according to the level of our students and we will know where to focus in the teaching process. <<I wish you all a great week. >>  ☺☺☺☺

Kagan Structures

During my academic years I have always imagined myself teaching in a class where students learn by having fun during the learning process. In a class where students act as in their natural habitat (they are themselves) , they are not seated in rows, they are not asked to be quiet or to pay attention even when the lesson it's not interesting. I imagined myself conducting a class where students collaborate with each-other by the use of different strategies that will make them more friendly, more attentive and more sensitive towards one another. I found the learning methods I have always imagined in the Kagan Structures. In the Kagan Cooperative Learning-Structures students are actively engaged in the learning process, they enjoy working together, they celebrate each-other's successes and this is quite different from individual and competitive learning, totally different from the traditional aproach. Students move around and they get their brain thinking. Kagan Structures bring very positive results on the students development, they enhance social skills and social relations, improve test results and increase liking for school from students. This aproach is also beneficial for teachers because the Kagan Structures are easy to be implemented in the learning process and it gives teachers more satisfaction seeing their students improve by being themselves.
I probably wrote a lot but the videos inspired me to write everything that I think it's important to be taken into consideration during the learning process. Have a nice week everyone! 😀😁☺😉

Hello everyone! It is my first time posting on this blog and I'm very excited about it.
